This service primarily provides entertainment through music and can be catered to the clients needs using demographics or special themes.  Occasionally, karaoke events are scheduled, allowing for an interactive experience in comparison to the traditional party where participants listen and dance to the provided musical selections.  Other capabilities include video displays, wireless transmission of sound and moving lighting systems.  Future capabilities will include VJ services (video-dj services), where video and music are mixed together; therefore a blend of visual and musical presentations can coexist.

Sharpe Pursuits, Incorporated offers different levels of pricing depending upon the event type, day of the week, number of hours, and other factors.

Email or call us so that we can provide you with an accurate quote for your particular event.  The below figures should provide you with a good estimate of the final cost.

A signed contract and a $100 non-refundable deposit are required to secure all dates.  Written estimates are valid for a period of 7 (seven) calendar days.  The remaining balance must be paid in full upon Sharpe Pursuits, Incorporated’s, arrival to the venue or location or performance.

 

 

DJ Services: $100/hr

The music will be catered specifically to your needs. Note, the sound system is not included

Basic Ceremony Audio ($200)


This package includes music or one wireless microphone (handheld or lavaliere).  The included sound system will cover approximately 200 guests.

Wireless Microphones: $50/ea.

 

Both handheld and lavaliere-type wireless microphones are available for rental without an accompanying sound system. 

 

Karaoke: $100/hr

 

This option includes providing a song list of karaoke music and a portable monitor that displays the words to the music, so that the audience sings the lyrics to the music.  This option is very popular among corporate clients and provides instant entertainment at any event!

 

Sound System Rental only: $150+

 

If you only need a sound system for your event, we can customize a package to cover any size venue.  Price depends upon room/coverage requirements.


Projector/Screen Rental: $300+


The projector/screen combination is used for showing your photo montage or a video at your reception or rehearsal dinner.  Screens range in size between 7’ and 10’ depending on the ceiling clearance, plus rear or front projections mats can be provided.  The price also includes setup, takedown, and an operator.

 

Basic DJ Lighting: $100+

This lighting package includes the regular eight light package, that flash to the beat of the music.

 

Advanced DJ Lighting: $200+

 

This lighting package includes intelligent, or moving, lights that can be programmed to move to the music and offer better coverage for larger rooms.  For instance, colors can be displayed on walls and ceilings to create certain room ambiences.  A team member will contact you to  discuss pricing, placement and other logistical concerns regarding this setup.


 

Travel Expenses


Mileage charges will be assessed at a rate of $.30 per mile each way outside of the greater Greensboro, North Carolina, area.

 

Additional DJ hours: $150/hr


The normal event length is four (4) hours.  Events exceeding the 4 hour span will be billed at a rate of $150 per hour (DJ services only, sound systems, lighting and other additional charges are subject to this condition).

 

Additional Speakers: $75+


You can order additional speakers for larger venues and other rooms.  We have the capability of sending music wireless to other areas within limitations.
