This area of the company works closely with all other areas of the company, and is closely related to the concert production unit.  The event planning division is responsible for the planning, implementation, and sometimes management of small to medium sized events, using not exceeding 500 people in attendance.  Typical projects include wedding receptions, weddings, family reunions, corporation functions, special ceremonies, birthday parties, book signing, and other events.  The planners work directly with the client to determine what areas need to be covered during the event, and together they develop a strategy that conveniently addresses most major issues.

 

 

Full Service Event Planning

Hiring an event planner is the best decision you can make when planning an event.  As your Event Planner, we will operate as a personal assistant during the  planning process, guiding you all the way and helping you stay on task and on budget.  While you orchestrate all you want included in your day, it will be our job to keep it stress free, efficient and enjoyable.  Kind of like your 'sanity insurance'! 

Our Event Planning Service includes:

Planning Aides - Our planning aides (Budget Assessment Sheet, Event Checklist, and Event Schedule) will help you keep everything in perspective.  They are customized especially for you, taking into account all of your ‘to do’s’ and the time frame in which you have to complete them.  

Event Consultation
– We will walk you through every step!

Vendor Referral and Coordination
– We will bring the vendors to you, making finding what you want a lot easier!

Shopping Assistance
– Need a buddy to help you choose what you want?  Let us know and we will join you!

Participant Contact 
 – Everyone will know where to be, what to wear, and what to do and you won’t lift a finger!

Advice, Suggestions, and Expertise
– We will share our 15+ years of combined event planning experience with you, so you don’t have to reinvent the wheel!

 

On-site Management Service

Our On-site Management Service is a great solution for managing event day chaos.  This service can be purchased with or without the Event Planning Service, and will allow you and your guests to enjoy your day, and not worry about a thing.  We would be the first to arrive and the last to leave, serving as your on-site contact for all vendors, guests and participants.  This service includes:

Sharpe Pursuits, Incorporated offers different event planning pricing depending upon the event type, logistical requirements, our involvement, and other factors.

In most cases, the overall event planning fee is related to the overall expenses needed to hold the function.  Email or call for your free initial consultation!  We will help you pinpoint what is needed for your occassion and provide you with an accurate quote. 
Written estimates are valid for a period of 14 (fourteen) calendar days.   

We provide installment plan options to pay for your event planning services.  A signed contract and a 15% deposit on all requested services is all it takes to get started.  The remaining balance is broken up into 2, 4 or 8 installments, allowing you to achieve more, without having to pay for it all at once. And we accept cash, money order, or credit card payments.

Another benefit of working with our company is our all inclusive approach to the event process.  Along with Event Planning, we provide disc jockey, photography, sound system, lighting, and graphic design services.  Whether your desire is for a custom gobo to shine your initials on the wall, dance to your favorite tunes, or create custom invitations, we can help.  Take care of multiple aspects of your event at one time, relax and enjoy the event planning process. 

 

On-Site Management: (per 8 hour block)

1 - 2 managers:  $500

3 - 4 managers: $1000

5+ managers:  call for pricing

 

DJ Services: $100/hr

The music will be catered specifically to your needs.

 

Sound System: $150+

The size of the venue and crowd will determine this price.

 

Photography: $150+

 Karaoke:  $100/hr

A wonderful add-on for any event! 

 

Graphic Design:  $50/hr

Great for invitations, programs, e-vite, and virtually any other advertising method.


 

Projector/Screen Rental: $300+


The projector/screen combination is used for showing your photo montage or a video at your reception or rehearsal dinner.  Screens range in size between 7’ and 10’ depending on the ceiling clearance, plus rear or front projections mats can be provided.  The price also includes setup and takedown.

 

Basic  Lighting: $100+

 

 This lighting package includes the regular eight light package, that flash to the beat of the music.

 

Advanced Lighting: $200+

 

This lighting package includes intelligent, or moving, lights that can be programmed to move to the music and offer better coverage for larger rooms.  For instance, colors can be displayed on walls and ceilings to create certain room ambiences.  A team member will contact you to  discuss pricing, placement and other logistical concerns regarding this setup.


 

Travel Expenses


Mileage charges will be assessed at a rate of $.30 per mile each way outside of the greater Greensboro, North Carolina, area.
