This area of Sharpe Pursuits, Inc., deals with the rental and operation of audio systems to support special events.  Usually, a client hires the company to temporarily construct a sound system for a particular purpose which is then removed at the conclusion of the event.  Technical support is offered at an additional charge where a technician remains with the sound equipment throughout the event’s duration.  Specific pieces of audio and/or disc jockey equipment may be rented individually.

The following systems were constructed to cover  basic sound requirements for the public speaking application and dance parties with a few hundred guests.  More advance systems can be catered to the venue and application.   Please contact a team member to discuss larger sound systems.

 

Basic Sound System Packages:

 

Bare bones system:  $100

 

This is a simple configuration used for basic public announcements.

 

One wired microphone w/ cable

One 15" powered speaker

One speaker stand

Free in-town delivery, setup and teardown

This system is suitable for approximately 100 people.

 

-Note:  no operator is included in this package.

 

 

Basic system w/o subwoofer:  $200

 

This configuration is used for situations where the main focuses are voices and music without heavy bass lines.

 

One wireless handheld or lavaliere microphone

Two 15" powered speakers

Two speaker stands

Free in town delivery, setup, and teardown

This system will accommodate approximately 200 guests.

 

 

Basic system w/ subwoofers:  $300

This is the general party setup and provides more bass than the option without the subwoofer, so that your guests are guaranteed to "feel" the music.

 

One wireless handheld or lavaliere microphone

Two 15" powered speakers

Two speaker stands

Two,  single 18"  subwoofers

One amplifier

Free in town delivery, setup, and teardown

This system will accommodate approximately 200-300 guests.

 

Note:  This system does not include a technician, although it is advised that a technical be present for this level of audio.

On-site technician:  $30

 

 

Out of town delivery fee:  $.30/mile

Note:  This delivery fee necessitates the need for a technician, so please factor in the technician hourly rate.

 

 

Wireless microphone (handheld or lavaliere):  $50/ea

 

 

15" Powered speakers:  $75/ea

 

 

18" Non-powered subwoofers:  $50/ea

Note:  An amplifier is required to operate this item.

 

 

Audio Mixing board:  $30+

(depending on size)

 

 

Non powered speakers:  $25+

(depending on size)

 

 

Amplifiers:  $75+

(depending on size)

 

 

Conventional DJ lighting:  $30+/ea

(depending on type)

 

 

Intelligent DJ lighting (moving lights):  $75+/ea
